Japanese Ambassador to Jamaica, His Excellency Yasuo Takase paid a courtesy call on Minister Omar Davies on Friday, March 22nd at his (Minister Davies’) Maxfield Avenue Offices.
During the visit, both men used the opportunity to discuss various initiatives designed to strengthen the bond between both countries. The Ambassador expressed pleasure at being in Jamaica and pledged to use his tenure in the island to advance bilateral relations between Jamaica and Japan. For his part, Minister Davies thanked the Ambassador for his visit and gave his commitment to working along with Japan in furtherance of cultural and technical co-operation between the two nations.
