Members of the MTWH Brain Games team that participated in the 2014 Jamaica Civil Service Brain Games Competition collected their prizes in a brief ceremony held in the Main Conference Room of the Ministry recently.
Pride of place was reserved for Francois Graham who was voted the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER (MVP) of the entire competition. He copped the gold medal in the English Language category while taking 5th place in Information Technology.
Also performing creditably was Deroi Brown who took silver in the English Language category as well as silver in the General Knowledge/Know It All Category.
Shanika Binns was in the top 5 of the Logistics Hub Category while Lanna Peart gave the team valuable points in the General Knowledge and Logistics Hub Category as well.
The combined contribution of the four participants helped the team to the overall 2nd place in a competition they were entering for the first time.
The Brain Games Competition was part of the week of activities to observe Civil Service Week which was celebrated between November 16 and 21, 2014.
