Fourteen MTWH Members Receive Civil Service Long Service Awards

Fourteen members of staff of the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing for their over twenty-five years of service to the Civil Service at a function at King’s House on Wednesday, November 20, 2013.

Occasion was the Jamaica Civil Service Long Service Awards. Those receiving awards were:

·         Everton Walker                    25 “

·         Ina Ashbourne                     25 “

·         Fidel McFarlane                  25 “

·         Melton Gardner                  25 “

·         Janet Blackwood                 25 “

·         Dennis Blair                           25 “

·         Annette Hemmings           25 “

·         Joan Pryce-McLeod            25 “

·         Lucinth Clarke-Mitchell    25 “

·         Sarah Newell                        26 ”

·         Michael Morgan                  26 “

·         Dawn Smith                           26 “       

All told, the recipients have contributed a total of 353 years to the service among them.

The awards are given every year to employees of the Civil Service who have worked for twenty-five years and upwards in the Civil Service and forms part of the Civil Service week of activities.
